We take the time to learn routines, observe behavior, and recognize subtle changes, ensuring care that feels familiar, low-stress, and thoughtfully tailored to each pet. This level of attention is especially important for pets who require medication, specialized handling, or a calmer, more attentive presence.

Professionalism: Wild Things Pet care is an established, licensed and insured pet care company. Every pet care visit is covered by general liability and pet protection insurance. We also hold memberships to professional organizations and participate in continued education to keep our knowledge updated.
Technology & Convenience: Using state of the art pet care business management software, we are able to offer our clients an easy, streamlined experience in communication, scheduling, payments, and receiving GPS-tracked visit reports.
Experienced in Behavior & Health: In addition to being Cat & Dog Pet First Aid and CPR certified, we have years of experience in Veterinary Assisting. We know how to safely handle all pets, how to recognize signs of illness, and what to do in emergencies.
Maturity & Experience: We have been pet sitting for 10 years and have come across many different issues during visits that require life experience and problem solving skills. Our clients feel at ease working with a calm professional that has systems and processes in place.
Security: We never advertise that you are out of town to nosy neighbors. Your information is secure in our encrypted software - never floating around our car on paper or in a notes app. We also perform security checks when you are out of town to make sure doors and windows are locked at each visit.

Founder & Chief of Pet Care
It all started in 2016 when I was working as a kennel tech for a local dog rescue and volunteering as a keeper aide at the SB Zoo while attending college. I was confused about my future and what I wanted to do for a career. A family friend whose dogs I walked for money suggested I should start my own business- something I had never considered. I immediately delved into research to learn every thing I could, as I do. I discovered my dream career, and have put my all into developing a professional, top of the line experience for pet owners in my hometown of Ventura.
My background includes over a decade of hands-on experience caring for cats, dogs, birds, and exotic pets, along with veterinary assistant work and wildlife rescue. I hold a degree in Psychology, which helps me understand behavior, stress, and routine so your pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away.
